Trying to find an very old game.

    This was from the early to mid 80's... Turn based from one computer. Everyone started with a planet that produced fighters over time. Some planets were faster than others.

    You sent these fighters to attack other planets, and the number of turns it took to get there depended on how far away the target planet was.

    At the end of a round, all battles would be calculated, and destroying all of a planet's fighters was how you conquered it. So forth and so on until you owned all the planets.

    The planets were designated with letters and numbers.

    Not much info to go on, but maybe someone has heard of it.

    Yea I remember playing that game on my Apple II, "Galactic Empires" was the name of it.

    Broderbund was the publisher I think.
