Triple Seven powder and pellets corrosive?

    I checked Hodgdon's site, but they don't say if it is corrosive or not. The do say cleanup is with plain old hot water and no special cleaners are needed.

    Thanks to all who can give more insight.
     
  2. IMHO all BP subsitutes are corrosive but not as bad a true BP. You can clean up this with hot water , small bore brush and light oil.

    Also keep in mind the primer or percussion caps to be more specific, attracts corrosion if you don't clean it up immediately.
     


  3. You need to clean it up like it was Black Powder. If you leave 777 to long it will rust just like Black Powder.

    But it does give you a bit more time before it attacks the metal.
