Well I went to my LGS to pick up a ext slide release I swear.:whistling: While there I thought I might as well get three so I would have spares. Then I thought I should buy some mags since I was already there so I just got ten. Then before I could check out he said that I needed to look at something and brought out a NIB 17l. What could I do since I have looking for one for ever? Yes you guessed it, I did. When I got home my Vanek trigger for my 17 was in the mail box so now I must decide which gun gets the new trigger. What do you think?

Congrats on the 17L. I say put the Vanek in the 17L and enjoy the hell out of it and the 10+ new mags.

    Doyle,

Congrats on the new 17L! Get cranking on the ammo...I see the Dillon scale in one of the pics  Curious to know how the new trigger works in that big guy.

I probably paid to much but I wanted one bad. 600 + tax but I am happy to just find one. Just got my sights and trigger ordered but I will be out of town and won't get to shoot until next week. Thanks

Thanks everyone, I will post as soon as I can get it to the range. I really wanted the Vanek trigger in my 17 so I just ordered another one and a set of DP sights.:whistling: It will be next week before I can try it out but I will report back as soon as I can. Thanks

That sounds like a fair price on an uncommon pistol. I think you did well. Around S. Florida dealers want that much for a G34. Crazy thing is that I've seem Chrony results of the same loads shot through a G17L and a G34 and they were very close in some cases.
Let us know how she shoots.
