Do you guys trim your pistol brass ? And how many times do you reload the same brass ?
I have never trimmed pistol brass, no need on straight walled cases. I have never even measured it.
I reload it till I lose it or the primer pockets enlarge to the point they won't reliably hold the primers.
Of course if it develops a crack, it will be disposed of.
Thats what i figured... Thank you
I have trimmed pistol brass for revolvers so I could get a more uniform crimp into a cannelure.
Heck, I even tried with .45 auto once because I was bored and wanted to see if the numbers tightened up some. They did... some. Not worth the trouble. I still measure for most of my stuff and for the .45 auto range fodder that I go through a ton, I will drop test / gauge them with my barrel when they're loaded up.
Oh I measure a selection of my finished rounds and all my rifle cases. I'm just glad I have never been bored enough to measure all my empty pistol cases.
Probably as much OCD as boredom...
