I looked at a couple of scopes today at Cabelas, Trijicon 5-20 and a Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20, and I need some advice on which would would be the best for me.

I like the Zeiss, but hated the retical, and liked the Trijicon, but didn't feel it was anywhere near as clear as the Zeiss.

If I could find the Zeiss with an illuminated 43 retical, would be an easy choice, but not finding one. Am using it as a medium range (100-400m) hunting scope in occasionally tough country. What are your thoughts?

For my long range stuff I love my Nightforce 3.5X15x56. Tough, bright, keeps zero!
I run a Trijicon AGOG on my AR. But for a scope for hunting I like Nightforce. Plus pick your favorite reticle. I'm running the NP-R2 on mine.

PS This is on my 300 Win Mag set up to shoot out past 1000 yards.
