    It was the custom makers and their popularity that caused S&W to come up with the 3913. In effect the factory copied the customizers

    I have the one in the S&W forums post. After I bought it I called and talked with Trapper for about an hour. Yours is the only other one I have seen[​IMG]

    I just dug up my old records. I bought one in 1978 for $475.
    I sold it when I moved to Florida in 1980.
    serial number was A220937.
