So I'm looking at trading a 226 TacOps for two new Glocks under the LEO program. I picked this Sig up thinking that it would be one of the best handguns that I would ever own, and I have never really been able to shoot it well, and I have had buddies shoot it just to verify it wasn't the shooter.

I use to own a 30sf and traded it a few months back for a Saiga 12 since I wasn't shooting the 30 much at the time. Well I found myself missing how well it shot and now am looking at trading the Sig which I have been offered 875 for trade towards two glock pistols. My question is which two would you all suggest. I want to stick with a compact frame for conceal ability.

I am looking towards the 29sf (close enough to compact) and a 23C. Give me your thoughts please.

If you've got the money to shoot 10mm, I see no reason to not get the 29 and 23 combo you're thinking about. I currently can't afford 10mm, and would personally go 23 and 17, but that's just me. The 23 for concealing and the 17 for range use, since 9mm is relatively cheap. But that's just me. If I had the money for 10mm, I'd definitely get one. If you're comfortable shooting 10mm, get the 29, it should be fun.

I own a 23, and I love it. It's small enough to conceal, big enough that it's comfortable to hold, and fun to shoot at the range.

The G19 would certainly be one of them. :)

What will be the purpose for these Glocks? Great choice you're headed in the right direction.

  5. I bought both of my Glocks, a 30sf and a Gen 3 19 w/nites under the LEO Program back in 2009. I'm very happy with my choices.

Btw, you're right about the 30sf being a shooter.

Get a 29 and a 36. Then you really have 3 new guns. The 36 slide in the 29 frame for a slimmer double stack 45 acp that's g19/23 size. Also barrel swap and mag change and your 29 is a 30

For me one of them would be a G26 - for it me it is easier to carry.
