So after looking for awhile for a companion for my Glock 23 gen 2, I finally found a 17 gen 2. I got a decent enough price and jumped on it. My issue is I have relatively small hands and do not shoot it nearly as well as my 23. I am going to try to trade it for a gen 2 19 but I am not sure how feasible this is. Are the 19s much harder to find? Do they demand a higher premium? At this moment, I would prefer to keep the 17 rather than sell it since finding a deal in South Florida is nigh impossible. Any advice is appreciated.

The grip diameter on the 19 will be the same as the 17. If you want a smaller grip size, look at the Gen-4's with the interchangeable backstraps. I have the same problem and the Gen-4 solved it for me.

The grip diameter is no issue for me, it is the hump on the back. The 19 fits my hand better while the 17 does not.
