I have a Springfield Armory Loaded 5" in stainless that has about 500 rounds through it. I have been offered a trade for a West German P226 with SRT and has been hard chromed matte. Comes with 4 mags and a Mitch Rossen holster and 100 rounds of black talon. This would be a straight trade ftf. I had a West German 226 that I sold so I know what it is like. It didn't have the SRT which feels nice in the stores. Is this a good trade? Sig is said to be 90% condition.

    Thanks

From a money standpoint, it sounds about right. I'm not a fan of chromed Sigs, but you can't beat the German pistols.

I went ahead and traded. It is one sweet Sig. I have other 1911's. I love the SRT on the Sig. The hard chrome finish is the matte so its not like chrome on a Harley. Can't wait to shoot it.

Jim's is still here. They seem to be doing very well. They were the first shop to get the Kimber Super Carry in stock. They always have more guns then anyone in town. It's been awhile since I have done any business with them as I frequent Shooters Choice and those guys give me a decent discount. When it comes to buying firearms I usually buy from a gun board.

Great looking SIG! I would have jumped on that trade too (especially if you had more than one 1911.) Congrats on a great find!

I'm not a Loaded fan, so it sounds like a decent deal to me.

It is nice. The SRT is very nice. The action is very smooth and the DA seems light. I need to measure it to see what the weight is. The previous owner got it from a friend of his that was going to use it for competition. He has lost track of him so no idea who did the conversion. I noticed that Gray Guns does a competition short reset package. Anyway it is very nice shooting.
