I hope that this is the proper place to ask:

My dad served in the 134th infantry, company C, in WWII. He arrived in Europe during the last couple days of the Battle of the Bulge, and served with his outfit through the end of the war.

He's now deceased, and I wish I could ask him. I would like to know how to find records of where his outfit went after the Bulge, what towns, what happened with them, etc. I know that, since he was a late arrival, he had to stand MP duty in Berlin for a few months after the war ended, but might not have been attahed to the 134th at that time.

Can anyone help direct me to the information. I've Googled till I'm silly, and tried to make sense of the sketchy information, which is quite disjointed.

Any help putting this together into some manageable timeline would be very much appreciated.

He trained in Paris, TX, and as far as I can tell, that outfit was out of Nebraska.

Thanks for any help or advice you can give me.

Thanks. I've scoped it over pretty thoroughly, and the details are sketchy.
    Still searching for more info.

The US Army Center of Military History might be a good start point (if you haven't checked there already.

I'd email them with your info, maybe they can help you out. Good luck!
