Toyota service reminder light reset

    I have a '05 Toyota Highlander (wifes car) i do all the Maint. my self so i dont take it to the dealer, but now my service reminder light came on and i dont see where in the manual it states to reset it. any help would be great. thanks agen to all

    It is the 5000 mile change oil reminder light.

    It's somewhere in the manual.

    You have to stick the key in the ignition, turn it to ACC.

    Making sure that its set to ODO, depress the trip/ODO button and hold for a few seconds until it blinks 000 and you should be good.

    Or you can take it back to Toyota, they should be able to do it for free.
