I have a Glock 17 with an extended slide stop on it. I put it in myself and am not 100% I installed it correctly. It is a factory part.

Today while shooting the pin was coming out slowly. It was coming out on the left side of the gun and when I put it back in it was kind of a pain to get in. Is this a symptom of a particular problem? I was using Winchester White Box ammo.

The gun has never acted up before so I was wondering what might be wrong. Thanks for any help I may get ahead of time.

Push the trigger pin back into the frame. Add a little extra pressure while pushing until you feel the slide stop drop in the pin grove. Flip the gun over and relieve a little pressure so the slide stop functions correctly. This should resolve the issue of a walking pin.
