Damn they are sitting down, no stage roaming and aggressive chasing of Obama by Mitt! I was hoping to see more of that myself :)

No, I don't love that. It just highlights what a circus show this whole thing is.

I'm sitting in Charlotte between flights - Twitter and this board are my eyes and ears. Sounds like Romney is doing well but being interrupted all over the place by O and Scheifer.

Board in 20 mins - luckily have lots of battery charge on my laptop.

Anybody think Monday night foot ball and the world series is going to have an effect on people watching the debates? I actually totally forgot until I seen your post!

All I can say is I hope they have vents in that place, because between Romney and Obama all that hot air is gonna blow the roof off.

Eh, it is a pretty static debate so far. Rather centrist, rather mild and mostly the exact same talking points from the other debates.

Which is fine for Romney...at this point, his whole goal is to "not foul up!" a panzy debate fills that role.

The only thing I hate more than color coded neckties is the next 72 hours of blowhards spinning their guy's lies and claiming the other guy lied about everything...and if he did tell the truth it's because he "flip flopped".

Around my office, uttering the words "flip flopped" might get you punched in the mouth.

Stop complaining about the other guy and tell me how you will lead.

Obama is the supreme BS’er and running out the clock….boring.

The talking heads will give it to Obama because he is not a disaster tonight.

Obama mentions Israel every third word…sorry we are not buying it.

If Obama wins the next morning Americans will wake up with a hangover….WTF have we done….4 more years of this…plus Obama Care...

    Boring!

Romney wants to get through it with minimal damage. Obama wants a home run.

Right now Romney's plan is working.

    Agreed.

    Debate #1 = Romney Massacre
Debate #2 = Both sides played to their base, and both did well at it

Debate #3 = Romney just needs to look Presidential and not step on his own tongue. Polls are trending his way...don't risk upsetting that by taking chances.

Obama is doing very well tonight. So far he is really hitting a lot of highs on foreign policy.

Romney is simply not responding very strongly. He is, of course, speaking well and looking good but is doing little to attack the presidents record.

100%. Romneys plan is indeed working but so far Obama is slightly ahead (if anyone is keeping score)

If the night continues this way, Romney won the war but Obama won this battle.

In a close race (so they say) that is dangerous.

The debate seems lackluster to me so far. Kinda like nobody wants to draw first blood. We're about 1/2 hour from the end. I'm still rootin' for Mit!

Romney has brought weaksauce so far. Obama has brought a little spice. Not much, but again, This is so far Obamas night.

OK, as I am posting this, Romney is playing a stronger hand.

Obama brought his A game and is in his element, no doubt.
