ive heard there is such a thing, cant find much on it?
Never heard of it, but I would also be very interested.
i have 2 that were converted to BB gun.
I would be very interested in one that was in 22. I love my Toks (and Maks too)
I've heard of a tokarev in 9mm but not 22.
Beats me. It will be very interesting to have one though.
Could it have been a Makarov conversion you were thinking of?
Polish made one, very rare, uses a replacement barrel and cartridge adapters/inserts.
wish it was common lol btw i know a 9mm tok can be converted to 762, how bout other way around?
Norinco had offered their Tokarev version with a conversion barrel in 9mm.
I haven't seen a Tokarev rimfiure conversion but a few Nagant revolvers that were converted in some aresenal.
Very true Andy
The Norinco Tokarev 213 is also their 9mm version. I have one and love it.
I have one of the Makarov 22 conversions.
It has a barrel insert, different magazines, a different slide and a lighter recoil spring.
The bb gun version of the tok that i have is made from a real tt33 frame. The barrel has a bb gun barrel welded into it. the magazine holds the bbs and the co2 cart. the hammer mechanism will swap with my unaltered tt-33s. The only thing stopping me from putting one of my Tok slides/barrels on it is a simple pin that was added into the frame.
I would never remove it, but someone could very easily if they were so inclined.
SOG is currently selling new production Yugo Tokerevs in both 9mm and 7.62x25.
