    I have a chance to buy a near new TLR-2 for $150.

I was debating between an X300 or TLR-1 when this deal came up. I've never used a handgun light or a laser. I practice with the Harries method of holding a flashlight.

Can you guys tell me some of the benefits/drawbacks of a laser/light combo?

    Thanks,

All I can tell ya is that I love my tlr2, I have it on an XDM and it is dead on. It's my bedside gun and the combo of the light and laser with the strobe function does the trick for me. I did have to adjust the laser a little bit, but it's on the job now.

I'm a little older now and the light/laser combo is the trick for the older eyes in the middle of the night.
