I need to buy new tires for my Explorer. Tell me which tires you have on your Explorer and if you like them or not. I'm currently living in LV, NV where it's dry and hot in the summer. I've looked at almost every tire I can find on the internet but I now want your opinions to narrow my search. Thanks.

I don't have an Explorer myself, but if you're not looking for a serious offroad tire, go with Michelin LTXs. M/S or A/T. They have good traction, good ride and last forever. Even the "All-Terrain" tread is quiet, although not really an offroad tire by any means. It'll do dirt roads and snow OK, but it's not a mud/sand/rocks tire.

Michelin. Wear well, quiet, handle well, no problems. Don't cost any more than other quality brands.
