Does anyone have a good reason to get the heavier 6920 over the 6720? Anyone used both? Any difference in recoil during rapid fire?

It seems every forum has their favorite. I like the 6720 but the 6920 would still be light enough and probably be easier to sell if that was ever necessary.

6720s go for a bit more premium around here so if you don't like it, I'd imagine you'd be able to unload it quickly. I've shot both, but only have significant experience with the 6920 because of preferences. I will say that the 6720 was pretty fast handling IMO.

The 6720 does sell for more. I can't find one in stock for under $1000. I may have to pay the extra $100 if I want one.

Has anyone seen them in stock for the typical $985?

Good luck with that price. I searched everywhere. You may have to pay the extra $$$ like I did. They are pure sweetness though. :)

Paid a bit more than I should have for my 6720, but that included losing money on the DPOS I traded in. I compared the 6720 to the 6920 at my LGS and just handling them together made the sale for me.
  6. The 6720 is noticeably lighter in the frontend and it swings easier. The 6920 is the closest thing you can get to what Uncle Sam uses. Other than that, they're pretty much identical.

Get in touch with Grant at GandR, even if his site lists them as out of stock, he may be able to hook you up with one. I'd vote 6720 BTW. Can't go wrong either way though.
