I'm not sure at this time if we know who was in charge of the standoff.

Do you have it on good authority or can point to the information ?

    What exactly are you implying?

That IF it is determined that he was wrongfully terminated, that his killing/shooting spree was justified??

What would be the point of re-investigating his termination? He was a POS, that's all that matters.

Even if he was wrongfully terminated, gunning people down is NOT how a person should attempt to clear their name. This isn't the movies...

Sent from the Titanic. I named my phone "The Titanic" so when I plug it into the computer it says "The Titanic is syncing".

Why he snapped is basically of no importance. Life is rough, get a helmet. There is no justification for his actions period. A well balanced individual does not react to disappointment or even mistreatment by killing innocent people, some could even argue by killing the guilty. He snapped because he was defective. He had history of failure LAPD, Navy, over half of his "plans" failed. Stealing the boat, breaking the axel on his truck, which probably in anger, he set fire to telegraphing his location. He crafted his own demise. He failed himself into a conflagration. That does not automatically give credence to his demented manifesto.

As far as I'm concerned, a new investigation will accomplish nothing.

Dorner decided to kill others. He's dead now, as it should be.

It doesn't matter who the gun is pointed at. If he shoots someone and then quickly points the gun at the ground only to quickly raise it and shoot someone else he's suddenly not off limits in between. He was in an active shootout, firing full auto out of the cabin. It was an active situation and he was an active participant. They weren't employing deadly force based on someone killed a week before or even an hour before. He could have called it off at any point, even after the fire started.

No, how about YOU get lost. Additionally, take a good year to find yourself, and don't bother to report back your findings.

    You're funny! And clearly biased.

Bear in mind that this is a discussion about the hunt for a COP killer.... How the &^%$ do you find it appropriate to stick your nose in this discussion to make self-righteous accusations; accusations that are old, tired and worn-out.

The LEOs who were murdered by this POS in CA are our BROTHERS you flaming idiot.

You have no shame. Man up and show an ounce of respect and keep your opinions out of this thread.
