Felt one for the first time today, used, at the LGS.

I realized just how much I like it. :wow: It was the SS, short bbl with the adjustable sights model. If not for the worn looking forcing cone (and the price) I would have picked it up. Some other minor wear issues, but those could have been dealt with easily.

What is a fair price for such a pistola in good shape? I apologize for not knowing all the variation names, Police, Service, Speed, etc.

I LOVE the "Six" series revolvers. I'd agree with $350. - $400. for a real clean one.

    $325.00 :faint:

I must shop at the wrong stores. Oh well, there is always the Gun Show route. Have to take advantage of one of them there Gunshow "Loopholes".

Interesting stuff seems to always pop up when you are looking for it.

I wish I'd never traded mine off. I didn't carry it for SD, but carried it hunting with me on a regular basis.

Great gun. Predecessor to the GP100.

I would buy one for 350 or so. But I already have 11 Rugers....
I guess you could say I am a fan....
