If you don't have nice software like Adobe Lightroom, you can use a free program like faststone photo resizer to batch watermark pictures with text or graphic.

Guys, thanks for the great suggestions. It's really not an issue if someone uses my photos.

It would be nice if people took their own pics, but it is what is is, I guess.

I use to have several myself until I had to start selling some when I became unemployed. I have gone from 81 1911s to 49.

Maybe someday I'll become a professional photographer. Until then, these will have to do...

yah, I never saw much to that so-called "artwork" done with just a piece of charcoal on paper either. If it isn't done with high-tech tools it ain't art.

  8. I actually meant to post this here, but posted it in a similar thread:

I've found that a lot of times after bac posts a pic of a gun he's picked up I immediately want it. I don't know why that pink carpet makes guns look so good, but it does.

I can think of three off the top of my head...
    1. A blued Colt Python
    2. A Colt Detective Special
    3. A Smith & Wesson 41

There are a ton of others.

Those are all great models to pick up. They will just keep rising in value.

I just goggled one type of gun I own and 6 of my pics are shown, I could only imagine how many of Bac's would show up. It would seem that GT is very popular for gun pics.:dunno:

bac has posted enough times about waiting for good light that I believe he is taking the pics outdoors or at least waiting for natural light

So the real question is: Brian, are you using different colored carpet? I've never seen pink carpet. The pics that I've seen and there have been plenty that have cost me a lot of money have been bluish-grey.:dunno::rofl:

SG, I phased the burgundy(pink) carpet out about a year or so before you joined, so I haven't used it in over 5 years. Those that refer to it have been around a while.

If you look at the beginning of the "Pictures" thread in this sub forum, you'll see some. That is a very long running thread. :)
