Not to sound condescending in any way but you really believe this statement to be true?

It doesn't matter who we vote for. We're screwed either way.

Look at the big picture people. Stop walking around in a coma and THINK! Obama is too smart to openly come out and attack guns himself. Too smart or too afraid? Anyway....

He is the Wizard of Oz. Keeps a low profile himself about gun control, but puts others in place to do the job. Think about it calmly and logically for a minute. Why risk his own slick, smooth personality (and life) to openly attack guns? One man is going to have a very difficult time doing something that major to this country. However, put the people in place overtime, and slowly but surely the same end result will occur. By stacking anti-gun judges throughout the land, bit by bit, piece by piece, the 2nd Amendment WILL be destroyed, and Obama can sit back and laugh. He still gets what he wanted, but his hands are clean. He is a master of manipulation and smoke screens. By putting life term judges in place, his bidding and legacy will go on for many, many decades after he is out of office.

As far as Romney goes, is he my first pick for a candidate? Absolutely not. However, this election isn't about that or him. It is about stopping this country from quickly changing into something never imagined, and trying to get back to the America we have all known and loved. Romney may not be a die-hard gun lover, but he isn't going to make it a priority to forever change the 2nd Amendment, either. Getting something done at the state level is much easier than trying the same thing across the country. No one man will openly come out and say they are against guns and gun ownership. That would be political suicide at the national level. Even if Romney is against guns (which I'm not certain of after reading an NRA interview with him), he will not be putting liberal judges in place to do his dirty work like Obama has and will continue to do.

The only way to stop some very dire things from occurring in this country is to elect Romney. Don't think about it as voting for him, but think about it as preventing a master left-wing liberal from putting in place a cancer no one will be able to stop. And to those of you who think that a republican congress is all that is needed to halt Obama, I say again, look at the big picture. Just a few state elections where a republican gets replaced with a democrat, and we are back to a democrat controlled government again. How'd that work out for all of us last time? Oh yeah. We got Obamacare rammed up our you-know-what's. Play to win the war, people, not the battle.

I'm not sure that having Romney in charge with the rest of the .gov supporting him, would be better than having Obama as pres with the rest of the .gov against him.

I don't have any idea what either of these clowns are really capable of.

Then why are you voting for someone who thinks you and your kin already have too much liberty? Mittens agrees with the Kenyan squatter on detaining Americans without charge or trial, spying on us, molesting us at airports, bus stations, and concerts, and killing anyone who makes it onto their secret list.

Romney is a con artist piece of garbage, and should be beneath you. I'll be damned before I willingly vote for the socialist stooge who beamed with pride at the assault weapons ban in his state, and still extols the virtues of the socialized medicine scam which was the model for Obamacare.

Progressives are scum, and they don't deserve your vote, no matter what party they're in.

  9. True. It boils down to this. I believe Romney is friendlier than other on 2nd. Also better overall on many issues and Romney is getting my vote. Just my 2 cents.

MAKE SURE OF YOUR SENATE ELECTIONS, they are the 'backup plan' to keep more fanatically biased judges like kegan and sotomayor off the bench. That is our second best hope.
  13. We lost when we started fighting a defensive war. It's just a slow death.

Because Gary Johnson doesn't stand a chance and Romney is better than Obama.

Believe me, this is not an easy choice for me.

Tough gun laws = pro-second amendment?

How do you figure that? So D.C. is more pro-second amendment?

The thought of look-at-me-with-my-feet-on-your-White-House-furniture attacking the second amendment brings my blood to a boil.
But don't you guys get it?
His goal isn't just the second amendment.
Do you think his past and his associations with fellow America-haters is just popular rumor?

Whatever you think of Romney, he is not anti-American.
If the thought of keeping America's greatest threat in the White House for another term isn't worthy of dirty-your-skivvies fear, then pass whatever your smokin' along to the rest of us.
    We're gonna need it.

Open your eyes people: this goes way beyond your second amendment rights.

Someone posted quotes with no links or context. Acujeff posted facts to prove that Romney is far better than Obama on gun rights. Never mind Romneys much preferable stances on energy and the economy.

To state they the same is complete ignorance of the two candidates.

Folks need to put their emotions aside.

Who is more likely to appoint left wing liberal judges to the Supreme Court and other Federal positions?

If Obama wins, say hello to the erosion of your gun rights. He doesn't have to sign a law. His appointees will do it for him. They are not afraid of politics since they are appointed for life.

At least 2 SC judges will retire. That will swing the pendulum towards the left for at least 10 years.

He did support the AWB in Mass and his Health care bill is worse than Obamacare. I'll pass on supporting the GOP this time around

    Here’s the plan.

Go on Democrat Underground or wherever the liberals hang out and start posting:

Vote Ralph Nader, vote Ralph Nader…

Obama and Romney are the same…

Vote Ralph Nader, vote Ralph Nader…

    Suppress the Liberal vote…

Except those folks know Obama and Romney are not the same; they are voting 100% Obama and they hate guns.
