Oak Creek Police Lt. Brian Murphy was the first to respond to the fatal shooting rampage at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in Oak Creek Aug. 5. He talks about the shooting that left six people dead and four wounded.

"I didn't give him anything back. I didn't make a noise, I didn't yell in pain...I wonder if there was not some part of him that thought, 'I don't want to get too close because he's not stopping. No matter how much I shoot him, he's not stopping.'" -Lt. Murphy, the words of a warrior.

Holy ****. It was like 10 of the most intense movies I ever watched rolled up into 12 minutes.

"oh boy, Ann is gonna be pissed if I miss (this trip to the Florida Keys)." :)

What a brave, squared away man! I salute him.

A true Warrior in the every sense of the word.

I can only hope that should that dreadful day come when I get involved in a situation such as this, that I can find the drive that Lt. Murphy had to survive no matter what.
  5. Absolutely impressive. Should be shown to every cadet and recruit at the academy.

"Standing out in the open when someon's shooting at you isn't the brightest idea."

    Good sense of humor.

    A very lucky guy.
