Any idea of what the texture of the RTF3 is like ? I never opted for a RTF because I did not want to take the chance of it snagging my clothes during conceal carry when I sit down / stand up. What is the difference in the texture ?

  7. These options on the gen4 are mostly to suit each type of individual preference, with the exception of the recoil spring and so, the gen3, given that I am right handed and sits very well in my hand, still is a good piece of firearm.

The gen4 doesnt seem to provide any real plus from that perspective. I guess to upgrade a gen3, I wonder if we can just pop the gen4 spring assembly into the gen3, (which should work).

the opening on the frame (where the recoil assembly will sit) is larger on the gen 4
