Several months ago I got the hots for a 1911. After much searching I narrowed it down to two. A Kimber and a Colt Commander. After much debate I ended up buying them both. Unfortunately I made a grave error in trading my pristine S&W 586 in on the Kimber. Several of you let me know what a bone head play that was. (fnfalman, and he was right). I tried to call the gun shop and buy it back but it was to late, somebody else has a very nice 586 now. I have seen the error of my ways and am in the process of correcting things. What do you think of the replacement? Supposedly not a blemish on this one according to the owner, though its hard to tell from these pics. These are the only two pics I have for now, more to follow.

It's still over seas and papers will take until properly april to get it here.
I got a stainless King Cobra.
Until I bought this one I didn't even know there were black King Cobras.

Looking for a 586 as well.
I am a sucker for the black finish.
    Yours is a true beauty.
With time I will find one as well.
I don't think I will shoot this KC too much.
Maybe once in a while a few rounds.

It looks very nice to me. I'm on the hunt for a nice 581. I had one in the latr 80's and still regret selling it.
