    I read the story, but I just now saw the movie.

    I felt the movie followed the story very well, but that was the most intense ending to a movie I think I've ever seen.

    I loved the ending to that movie. For some reason I like "downer" endings.

    i love stephen king. koontz's books are easier to read...but king's are indescribably more rewarding and better overall.

    yeah, even king himself admitted that he liked the movie ending better than his own.

    i put the ending of the mist right up there with s7ven in the top 5 "holy crap!" type endings.

    yeah but a strange fog rolled through and something snatched it and dragged it off.

    I thought the movie ending was so different from the book... I didn't really like it.

    I mean... JUST shooting those people and then rescue arrives. That would have to suck.

    But a good movie. Good special effects too.

    Glad I've already seen the movie. :supergrin:

    I think that being directed by Frank Darabont was one of the main reasons it was so good.

    The movie was mediocre, but the ending was definitely memorable.
