The Gun Rush in the US

Discussion in 'Band of Glockers' started by isuzu, Apr 12, 2009.

  1. yeah, thats true. people are stacking up guns rather than food in the event that there would be another great depression in the u.s. A lot of people lost their jobs and also lost their minds and went on a killing spree. crazy huh?

Which reminds me. I have to go to Wal-Mart tomorrow. Somebody wiped out the Federal 525 round bulk ammo. There are several boxes of 500 round bulk Winchester Dynapoints left.

22 lr ammo is fast drying up here as well.
  3. The arguments from both the pro- and anti-gun lobbies are still the same after all these years. And still the anti-gun people don't make any rational sense. The whole anti-gun lobby is a "feel-good" movement.

+1 to that!. I guess they are a hopeless bunch! I'm thinking even if they get a$s-whopped by some BGs, they will remain antis. To me, they can scream all they want as long as it will not cause another gun-grabbing episode by the govt, who cares. the problem is, tra-pos are scared to lose their seats so they cater to even the illegals. In CA, its been a waste of billions of $$ in health care & other services and Ahhnold da Terminator cannot do nothing!

A friend is still on the look for an upper for his Noveske. Sabay ko siyang bumili ng lower noon pang 11/08. We already hit 2 guns shows in the Cow Palace (San Fran) and came out nada. Pinag-aagawan! You should see the crowd in the ammo section, parang Divisoria! can u believe one dude buying in bulk in all kind o caliber, he must have spent over $2K...dala nga hand cart eh, hindi na plastic bag!

True, how very true! I can understand 9mm, .45 and .40 ammo selling like out. But shortage of .22? Wow! May have to get a Walther P22.

BTW, the Glock shortage in my area seems to have lighten up a bit. Just came back from my local gun dealer. They had G19, G26, G23, G27, G30...each priced between $499 and $570. It's just hard to find some ammo!

There's one Wal-Mart in another town that is near farms, and .22 lr ammo is always gone whenever they get stocked on the shelves.

It seems that Mr. Obama is also a FlipFlop like some other Democrat Presidentiable who ran a few years ago...

Just my Personal opinion guys, i think he's doing the more popular things in all aspects. I think he's afraid of losing the people's confidence while his predecessor didn't mind what the people was saying and instead did what he thought was right for the people...but i think him backing off from the AWB is a big win for Gun Owners in the US. Come to think of it, what are those people who bought a lot of HPRs will do with their stock pile of AR's and Mags and Ammos??? Pahingi naman oh....:supergrin:
