    Dennis Prager is wrong.
Somebody needs to tell him that Leftism is not a religion.

Sounds like he's patronizing the Muslims?
Is he scared to tell the truth about them?

Is he saying that Islam isn't affected by Leftism?

You saw something I did not.. What I believe Dennis is saying is that for those who embrace Obama and that 'special' thinking he espouses, 'leftism' IS a religion in more respects than it is anything else.
You have the blind, non-thinking acceptance from a power beyond... you have unquestioning obedience.. you have the self-righteous stance in all things.. you have the willingness to declare non-believers less than the 'chosen few'.

    No, Prager has it wrapped.

As so very often, it is you that is wrong and not whoever or whatever you are tlking about. Leftism has a one to one correspondence to a religion in almost everything except the belief in God. Instead it has the belief in the equally irrational correctness of the leftist view of the world. Rather than thinking of leftism as a religion, which is essentially correct, it might be better to think of all religions and leftism as irrational ideologies which are attractive enough to pull people into their belief system without any evidence that their ideas are valid.
