Just like how you find it impossible to believe that someone else might actually know more than you do.

Maybe we should bow down to you, give you all of our money, and make the Church of JB? I mean, since you're all knowing and such. :tongueout:

I have to wonder if the opposite if rational negation is irrational acceptance.

For instance I have rationally negated the concept of hell that was taught to me from fundimentalist Christians. Are you saying that since rational negation is self-defeating that I should just accept what is irrational? Sounds like typical just take it on faith speak.

Believe what you want, I've been challenged on this point before and provided the proof. I enrolled in a christian university as a believer and graduated as an atheist.

It's true... Dude I swear I can feel your faith folding in on itself. You are starting to question this stuff but years of brain washing have you confused. I know it's scary... it's scary as hell to let go. But I get the feeling you're close.

It's ok... there aren't any monsters on the other side of your religion.

So you think that everyone that died in the "Flood" was wicked and evil? You don't think there was an 8 year old girl somewhere playing with her dolly that was murdered by God as well?

If God knows and sees all... why did he have to start over? Seems like he would have foreseen it and made his creation to better suit his desires. The entire flood scenario makes it appear that God made a mistake and had to correct it.

You talkin about Obama? He's no squatter. The people wanted him... not once... but twice. Partly because the Republican Candidate was a religious nut job. Religion has destroyed the republican party. I know... I left it because of it. I am a gun carrying, red meat eating, fiscal conservative American... and I voted for Obama because I am sick of the Evangelical Right. And the GOP thinks they lost because they aren't inclusive enough of other races... that's a racist statement in and of itself. People are sick of the religious crap. Until the Republican Party sheds that nonsense... they're doomed. Obama is YOUR president. If you don't support him... you're Un-American.

Something triumphs over judgment but it isn't mercy.

If your imaginary genocidal maniac really existed he would be worse than Stalin, Mao, Idi Amin, Mengistu, Pol Pot and every other murderous POS like that put together. Of course if he exists than all of them would be acting just like their creator.

Yeah I think AG nailed it. Might is right. Pray to the Murde ..er Merciful One or he will get you.
