James Johnson, national law enforcement partnership is speaking... say that he and 7 out of 9 organizations he represents back Feinstine's ASW... who is he and his organization. This guy is a tool in a cop suit giving false information relying on credibility of his words because he is in an uniform.

Dianne Feinscum is talking now and I can hardly contain my contempt... She did mention slide fire stocks first thing.

    I don't understand the debate.

Control = no. This whole debate should take 5 seconds.

On to the hookers and blow...

I propose that, if this debate on C-SPAN right now, was televised on every major channel, uncut, from beginning to end in every state in the union, that there would be so very few american citizens who still felt strongly in favor of gun conrtol that it would no longer even be an issue for debate.

Every single very profound statement that is made by the Pro 2A reps is completely deaf-eared or silenced.

And they continue to make undebatable points in favor of 2A.

LaPierre gave a great, elaborate example of how people need firearms for after natural disasters when no help can even get to them for some time.

They turned around and tossed it to James Johnson, MD Police Chief, completely ignoring every word he said and carried on as if he'd gone into an elaborate, tin-foil description of how we need guns to battle our Govt.

    Un.....believable to see.

Just wish more could/would see it. You'll likely never see/hear anything about that in any hand-picked sound bytes in the MSM.

He, as well as most pro-gun folks, has been sucked into a specious argument. No elaborate examples are needed. The right to keep and bear arms is an inherent right that cannot be infringed upon by any gov or anybody. The 2nd ammendment is very clear, and if further clarification is needed, it is available in the writings of the guys who wrote the darned thing. That's the conservative argument here...it says so in the Declaration and the COTUS. Period. If somebody wants it different, there is a process to change it. That should be the end of the discussion.

    Agreed.

I think he dropped an undeniable 'bomb' on em with his presentation using charts, etc.

Unfortunately, it's very likely that nobody, who didn't watch this thing beginning to end, will ever hear/see any of it.

    Shame.

As I've said before folks -the Progressive Liberals are not going to stop they are on a full frontal attack on our freedoms- Listen to the recent coverage of the Law Prof expousing that we get rid of the COTUS! The battle lines have been drawn they will pass an Unconstitutional AWB. It will come down to us the gun owners -do not comply with the AWB, stand up now or become a slave!:steamed:

Was very impressed with Sen. Kirsten Gillibrands speach about the black market.
Was shocked to see a Dem. from NY recognize our rights and admit that most of us are law abiding citizens. She didn't speak of any restrictions in her bill but I have not read it.

    Unfortunately, I agree with you.

Most people I know, as well as many online, feel there is no way any of the EO's will pass.

I look at the history just over the past couple decades and feel that it 'IS' very possible that they 'WILL' force this through congress.

Obviously, I will be relieved if it is defeated, but I also feel victory on that front will be short-lived.

These folks who demand gun control/gun "elimination" will NOT give up until it is a reality.

I do hope that those who are 'FOR' our gun freedoms in America will persist relentlessly in this battle.

If we lose all gun freedoms in America, I feel strongly that the aftermath is bleak.

Been watching the debates for a while now. My thoughts are,

    1. The gun show loop hole and private sales will definitely get NICS checks passed. LOTS of talk on that.

    2. Trafficking and black market sales(the bill that Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand introduced), will get a lot of attention.

    3. Information available to NICS will be expanded.

    4. No AWB ban.

    5. Mag capacity is still up in the air but don't think it will happen.
