    Hey everyone....

    Just thought I'd chime in and say that, while I've been into the 10mm Auto cartridge for many, many years ... my enthusiasm hasn't dwindled in the least. :cool:

    I simply love the 10mm.

    Carry on.... (literally and figuratively)

    I'm right there with you. One of my first glocks was a 2nd hand 29 that had some issues. New magazines and a recoil spring and it is an absolute blast. It's about the only gun I ALWAYS take to the range. :supergrin:

    Same here - it's truly an addicting round. I've got a 20SF, and while it's not as pretty as my 1911, it's been to the range way more often lately... I'm also working on building up some loads for it, I've got some 165gr Gold Dots and 180gr XTP's. Eventually I'll probably add some 200gr WFN cast. Too much fun...

    Oh yes, I still as enthused as I was back in the mid 80's and maybe even more so! :wow:

    Now all we need is for more guns chambered in our favorite cartridge! :supergrin:

    I bought my first one, a G29SF. Wow. Now I have 4 Smith 10xx series, 3 Colt DE's and a G20SF.

    But I kept my G30 and my DW Heritage too.

    Ditto ... and at least since the late '80s for me.

    Guess that makes me one of the "old guys" here. :dunno:

    Funny how this one cartridge can grow on you ... some days I feel like the 10mm and I are just an old married couple, still able to appreciate and enjoy each other's company after all these years. :shocked:

    The best pistol I could ask for. Just doesn't get any better, all who don't own one have not a clue what an all around best pistol is. THe G 20 is going to always be on my side.

    I want in on this too. I have a fondness for 10mm I have never had for anything else. Don't see it changing either. I do think I like my 20 as much as I like 10mm though. I hope other companies jump in with some new guns in the future, can't have enough choices.

    After doing a ton of ballistics research to pick my first handgun, I took a chance and bought a factory refurbished G29 at a gun show. On my first trip to the range I set up the target at 15yds and put one right through the bull on my first shot. Haven't looked back since!

    Reloading has only fueled my love for 10mm since I can shoot it all the time now without going broke :)

    I have been a 10mm fan since 1987 when Colt introduced the Colt Delta Elite & Colt Delta Gold Cup. I was the one who got the 10mm legalized for White tail handgun hunting in Ohio back in the 90's. I have carried a 10mm Glock 20 almost every day for more than a decade.

    Because of a family member, I found out about the '86 Miami Bank Robbery & Shoot-out and the push to find a new handgun back around 1987 or so. I even got my hands on one of these when they first came out;

    I am a huge fan of the 10mm cartridge.

    I am saving up to purchase one of these;

    I love the 10mm too! It's such a hoot to shoot with full house loads and does not lack in power. When you compare the blast and kick VS magnum revolvers, it's shocking how high the energy is from the 10mm glock 20 platform. Super efficient cartridge too! Think about this- one of my favorite loads of 8.5 power pistol produces 1300 FPS from my 6 inch barrel with a 180 grainer, thats 675 FPS. OK thats a WHOPPING 79 ft lbs of energy per grain of powder, thats at the top of the ladder in regards to cartridge effeciency. To get 675 Ft Lbs energy from a 6 inch magnum revolver you would need at least 15 grains of powder. The most effecient rifle cartridge the .308 is only about 50 FT- lbs energy per grain of powder. The magnum revolver cartridges like 357 and 44 when fired from a 6 inch revolver barrel have something like an embarrassingly low 30 ft lbs per grain effeciency

    I've no experience with the 9x25 but its a cool concept for varminters and tinkerers ... but i can get the same effect by launching 135gr Noslers at 1750fps. :) To each his own, though!!!

    Mine love for 10mm extends to the 9x25Dillon, I like that the 10mm platforms can support other cartridges like 40S&W, 357Sig and 9x25 so I load and shoot them all.:supergrin:

    I hope that I become a huge fan of the 10. It isn't exactly what I expected.

    Before I got it I was thinking of desert eagle type of reputation, instead I got 15 rounds in a fairly compact, smooth shooting package with about the same performance as a 357 mag in an auto.
