And I have proof  This target was shot at 26 yards (24 meters instead of the usual 25 meters over here), no rest or support, just standing using both hands. I stopped at 5 shots, didn't want to mess up the group. Pistol was my Glock 20 which is bone stock except for a 3.5 lbs Ghost rocket connector. Ammo was 170 gr Fiocchi FPJ with 12,0 gr AA7, standard LP primer from Magtech and Starline cases.

Glocks in 9mm may be accurate, but the 10mm is in a class of its own. My G20 always shoots super accurate, but this picture I just had to post

Pistolpete, I hate to be the one that tells you this, but, it ain't the gun it's the shooter. If you shot that group at 26 yards, and, not that I'm doubting you, but, if you shot that group at 26 yards with a G20, I'm positive, you could do that well, with many firearms, in different calibers! That's good shooting, but I'm willing to bet, if you shot my Ruger MKII, you'd shoot a group, half that size, with a 10 shot group. Of that, I'm positive!

Well, I can shoot those kind of groups with both my STI 1911 .45 pistols (on a good day), but they cost 2 or 3 times as much as the Glock. But I never (and I've shot over 200 different handguns) encountered a pistol in the price range of the Glock 10mm that will shoot as accurate. My Glock 9mm (model 17) for example will shoot respectable groups at 25 yards, but never this good. Pistols in .22 are a different story, however I've not seen lots of guys shooting 1" groups from the hand with a non-scoped Ruger .22 pistol. But I agree that with a good rimfire these kind of groups occure more often.

I always tought that if you want to shoot some really tight groups with a centerfire caliber pistol you need an expensive pistol, like a well tuned 1911 or a SIG X-five, X-six, ... that was untill I got to shoot the Glock 10mm. I would not hesitate to put to Glock 20 next to the SIG P210 when it comes to most accurate service pistol ever. And that's a pretty bold statement

Canyonman, I'd love one of those mine-revolvers, they seem to shoot pretty good to seeing your picture. In Belgium however you need a new gunlicense for every centerfire pistol you buy, and lately the government has a policy of not giving licenses for short barreled pistols.

I put a target crown on the muzzle. It truly is a good shooter in 22mag out to almost 50yds... Obviously it is only meant for a belly/boot gun a poker table last ditch effort gun. But I have seen out of this little guy with 22mag FMJ's go through fence post on the ranch. Be good for a shot to the noggin ! ;)

As a big bore hog leg shooter with EDC out here with 44mag or 45LC, this is a very fun little gun to shoot, and I do sometimes drop in my shirt pocket for those trips to town to the greasy cafe, of course there is a 1911 in 45 acp down the back of my wranglers...

Hey maybe Glock will make a 10mm in this size !

Just borad and havin some fun with the gang here on this very slow boring day, Kinda down and home bound...

    Enjoy..

    Bless ya amigo
    stay safe over there hombre

Yep...as long as I do "my" job, the G20 always does his. I will say this: I have been practicing a lot with my new G33 and although a sub-compact, the 357 Sig is an amazing round out to those distances.

I believe you when you say these can be pretty accurate. I shot a Baby Browning a while back which is also ridiculously small and at 25 yards I got some very good results.

There's just one safety drill I never do with these kind of pistols/revolvers and that is keeping your finger next to the trigger until you're ready to shoot, mainly because your finger gets past the muzzle and that doesn't feel very comfortable

    HA HA...

not when the barrel is only 1 5/8" long ! haha.

Just be glad at this point that you shot very well with your G20.... ;)

    Stay safe !

pistolpete10mm, congrats! The 10mm cartridges with some good loads will hit inside 4" at 100yards with good control and sights...most sights are not refined enough for precision shooting at those distances...

Best part about that is it still packs more energy that the 45ACP at the muzzle!

Great shooting Pete! The G20 is still more accurate than I am.

Mas favors the G30, which was also favored by the late Jim Cirillo of the famed NYPD Stakeout Unit.

    Good shooting, Pistol Pete!

    Thanks guys!

I will keep this picture on my cell phone and whenever some guy comes out of his cave talling me Glocks are not really made for accuracy I will show him the picture.

I guess this makes me a Glockophile
