I was wondering what is the best way to test handgun ammo without ballistics jell. I have read on the internet that using wet newspaper in a 5 gallon bucket. Is very close to using ballistics jell. Is there other ways to test the ammo. Also what is a safe distance of penetration during testing including ballistics jell to insure bullet does not pass threw.

    Thanks
    Tim
