First thing i noticed; is the brass does not eject as far as the DI gun, but other than that, i didn't feel it shoot any different, very nice AR.

at first it was a bit low, the front sight post was turned way up

first 20 rounds, as i was adjusting front sight

second 20, pretty much right on except shooter error, being left i tend to pull left.

Those Stag M8s sure look nice and seem priced competitively.

What distance were you shooting at?

Any sign of carrier tilt so far?

25 yards (all the room i have here), only 50 rounds, but no sign what so ever.

My eyes aren't what they were in my Army days, but i still do OK with iron sights

I forgot to mention, it has a decent trigger, better than the Stag 3. I noticed this stag 8 has a different hammer than the m3.

I've seen their bolt carriers. They have what are called anti-tilt pads milled into the back. I've heard that the mod works well, but don't have any direct experience.

Good to hear because I am going to pick one up. I looked at a whole bunch of AR's and i think the m8 is a good deal. I just need to find a local stag dealer with a good price.

I took my Stag M8 out shooting yesterday to start off 2011 with a bang and had a blast! The POF roller cam pin worked like a charm. No additional upper receiver wear. Best $20 part I ever invested in. I'll post a video of the after action report when I get my laptop back from my wife's facebook game playing.

    Hey Mix,

How much was the shipping on that pin? when I go to order it they won't tell the shipping amount, i hate to pay $12 shipping on a $25 pin

The POF website listed mine for $20 but unfortunately charged $8 shipping on such a small part? That was the best deal I could find at the time.

I just saw your Desert Shoot video. What kind of sling did you put on the Stag?

Cool, that dealer is 10 miles down the road and he has both right and left in stock. I am right handed but shoot long guns left handed so i want to check out the lefty.

Damn, that sucks. $25? I guess I got lucky and ordered mine just in time. Sorry brother, that blows. I'd still recommend it since your gun is a $1000 investment no matter how you look at it. I guess the recession hit POF too?

Then look at it this way. It's a 32 dollar part with free shipping. Is that part worth 32 bucks to you?

Its just a cheap $20 no-name gunshow 3 point sling I picked up just to get me by until I can figure out if I want an Magpul MS2 or a Vtac? It may be cheap but I was workin' it lol. It did everything well except allow me to transition from primary to support side but eh...it was just $20.
