LGS has a new Gen 3 20SF (UUV prefix, I believe) in stock for 575 otd. Figuring in tax, it comes out to what amounts to 538.65 + tax. Factors: 1. White label (Glock part # PF2050101 - 10 round mags). Bummer, because I live in a free state. 2. Already own a beautifully set up G29SF w/NS. I also have a ported, extended LW barrel (around 4.8" I believe). With 15 round mags and A&G extensions, for all practical purposes, it pretty much is a shortened G20SF. 3. Also own a Gen4 G21. Buy a conversion barrel, and I am pretty much set (for the range anyway). Why do I want a G20SF? 1. The G29SF is great for carry, but my Gen4 G21 fits my hand like a glove. Sure, I could drop in a conversion barrel, but that would be a range-only setup (I don't carry conversions for defense). 2. Extra velocity. 3. Full sized grip. 4. I don't particularly wish to buy a used G20, as you never know what sort of handloads someone has been running through it. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I do believe this is a very real concern with a 10mm. The only real bummer is the 10 round mags. I have regular capacity mags for it, but buying any 15-round Glock with 10-rounders is kinda... blah. I haven't bought a new Glock in quite some time. Is 575 otd a decent price for the large frame Glocks? I do see them listed elsewhere online, but usually not in stock, and if you figure in shipping, FFL ($20), etc, it's typically pretty close. And with all factors considered, is my money better spent elsewhere? Like, for instance, Underwood ammo? Pretty torn on this one... Thoughts? Wanna kill these ads? We can help!
