But at least they tried. In Natsoland, just trying or claiming to be trying to do something is the only measure of success. If it weren't, Natsos would be imprisoned for what they did to America's poor over the past six decades.

Sounds like they are doing a good job. Maybe they can build the American gun registry, too.

I'm certain that someone, somewhere has a list, even though they aren't supposed to. I'm also fairly certain that they know who the gunowners are for the most part. It's not 100%, they can't trace every "Joe sold a gun to Bob" but they know more than they're letting on.

5 years ago I would have said that was conspiracy crap, now I'm not sure.

The 'failed' registry was for long guns. The handgun registry is alive and well.

Not 'the owner'. She doesn't make the list of CGI's executive officers and senior leaders: Meet the members of CGI's management.

Wait, she's not on the CGI management team in the US: Meet CGI's management team in United States.

Here she is: Meet CGI's management team at CGI Federal

Did she call his classmate and ask for a favor, to maybe get him onto that list? Heck, access to that info is way above my pay grade. Just like it is above everyone's here...but it does make for nice political theater, doesn't it.

After further research, the contract was awarded to CGI Federal, Inc., the American arm of the Canadian parent company.

Here is a report in pdf format from the Government Accountability Office dated July 14, 2011: Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act: Contracts Awarded and Consultants Retained by Federal Departments and Agencies to Assist in Implementing the Act .

Here is one entry on Page 8 identifying CGI Federal:
The classmate was indeed very, very close to the deal.

CGI is very entrenched in the United States government.

Start reading here with their 2007 Media announcements.

Read forward through the years and see if the number of CGI contracts...well, just see what happens.

Maybe this needs its own thread...
