Taurus PT99

Discussion in 'Band of Glockers' started by juramentado, Aug 28, 2004.

  1. a relative of mine has a taurus pt99 AF 9mm left by her deceased husband (foreign diplomat). She's asking me to clean it and it still looks ok. I'm using the same kerosene cleaning method I learned right here in BOG. :D

Apparently the owner maintained it well. It lacks a magazine and the gun has no signs of rust despite being stored for a few years. The run is surprisingly easy to field strip, as compared to my 1911.

How much is a gun like this worth? is it ok as far as 9mms go?

About $300 if in the US.

Advise your relative not to sell. One should never sell guns hehe.

That is a good gun by the way.

  3. I'm still not sure if she'll be willing to sell this.

I wonder how much this would be, second hand, over here?
  4. In that condition, probably around 18T plus the mag around 2T.Okey na baril yan from Taurus Brazil.;)
