I have a M627 Tracker thats been a great shooter. The porting really does make a difference when shooting full house loads.most of the time I shoot .38 special 158gr target ammo.I ran a couple of boxes of the Remington 158gr .357 Magnum FMJ thru it and recoil was very manageable.right now I have Fiochhi 158gr Hornady XTP in the cylinder for a little home backup. The cylinder lockup is tight and timing is right on,no lead shaving or any other malfunctions to speak of.The single action trigger pull is good, double action is still a little stiff.I would purchase it again(even though its a Taurus).I like it.
