About 15 years ago I bought a Taurus 85. It came with rubber grips that help to tame recoil, but drag on my clothing during a draw. I have long wanted to replace them with some wooden grips, but can't seen to find any. Will the S&W J-frame grips fit the Taurus 85? I know the two revolvers are vey simmilar, but I don't want to spend money to be proven wrong.

I know that some folks at the S&W forum have modified a closed back 85C grip to work on a J Frame RB
They are not the same & won't interchange..
Hogue should offer a wood or polymer grip for the 85..
