I'm doing a S-12 conversion and I'm trying to figure out which buttstock to install on it.I had a pump shotgun that I put an ATI 6 postion stock on, which is similar to the T6, and it seemed like it almost tripled the felt recoil compared to the factory stock. That was a pump though, and from what I understand, the S-12 absorbs quite a bit of the kinetic energy, resulting in much milder recoil.

My question is- Has anyone here used a Tapco T6 on a S-12 and did it increase the recoil compared to the factory stock ?

Negative... just plain T6 stock. Works well for me without spending too much on a stock. I use my S12 for 3-gun matches.

I never fired either of mine with the factory stock but I believe the T-6 would slightly reduce felt recoil since it covers a wider area.
