By the way, y'all may also want to check out www.tank-net.org and their forums. Some interesting stuff in there.

I did tank training at Ft. Knox. 1964 (the year they shoot some scenes for the movie Goldfinger). Then went to Germany and was never assigned to a tank. The only track vehicles I drove was a M577, and a M114. I was a member of The 2nd ARC.

I was a CAV Medical PSG with the NE Army National Guard. I can't tell you how much time I spent at Ft. Riley at the David C. Douthit (I hope I got that right) gunnery range up north in the past from 1985 to 2001.

The engine is a great cooking area. Coffee, Ramen Noodles, even heating up MREs. I remember the 11 B guys who loved it when my platoon was attached to their company. Meant they would always have a place to dry things out.

  15. AH!! TANKERS ARE MY FRIENDS!!!!! Never was in or drove one,, but sure did love'm when they'd show up and do the "Bunker Boogie";f
