i have a mossberg 535 with the 3.5" chamber. its not too tactical though, just a turkey version.
M1A Shooter, That is my problem with Mossberg. The 835 is a Turkey gun, and they do not want to blur that line. Mossberg told me It was not possible to mount the 590 barrel to the 835 receiver. After years of dealing with Mossberg regarding this shotgun, I'm fed up. Their customer service is full of brainless script readers. They hire folks who have no idea what Mossberg sells or doesn't sell. Mossberg lists stuff in their catalog that they don't sell separately from a complete shotgun. It is aggravating.
From here on out I will be purchasing Remington 870's.
i still prefer the controls of the mossberg but i do see the 3.5" as unnecessary, for me at least. i will stick with the 500 or 590 serries. i was told when i got the 535 that the barrels were interchangable with the 500 but thats not true.
Not real "tactical" more of an "anti-zombie" thing... the sawed-off 10ga BPS... kinda looks like a mini sewer pipe on there.
Anti-Zombie... and you pick a 10Ga. I'm thinking a 20Ga. is the perfect Anti-Zombie weapon. Lighter recoil with great stopping power up close.
For zombies, I'd rather a small carbine, 9mm or 5.56mm, preferably suppressed. For zombie trucks, that 10ga would do nicely
I know, it's probably an old post, but that is one of the funniest things I've seen in a long, long time. You owe me for a new keyboard, I spit Mtn. Dew all over mine when I saw this......
What is it? Any Idea's????
It's a UN-Fired SPAS 12 (29years old) I have to replace the Receiver Bushing so It will remain Un Fired until my parts come in..
Well Here's the A-Team..
i've always wondered, what is the hook for on the stock?
Well it can move 90 degrees left or Right and it hooks under your forearm, adding leverage, allowing you to shot it with one hand..or you could use it as a carry handle.
I admire your choice in beverage sir. Nice shot gun and the A team looks great!!! Why has it not been fired in 29 years?!
cellphone shot of my persuader
Investment. Those things are expensive now!
I just got a SPAS myself, and I'm looking for some parts to get it back up to speed. Where are you sourcing parts from?
my mossberg 535 3.5" turkey gun with a shockwave raptor grip installed. the regular stock will go back on it when i get another mossberg 500 to go sbs/aow with.
Well basically all the rubber parts need to be replaced
Like the receiver bushing and the bumper pad on the folding
Stock and rubber bumper in the folding stock..
I ordered them on the 3rd and haven't heard or gotten a return email So yesterday I went down to a local machine shop and are having them made out of modern material
That will last years.
The stock parts were made out of a nylon molded material
That become brittle over the years.
I plan on having a few dozen parts made and
Will sell them since there is only one guy selling parts.
Thanks, I love SHINER!!! Oh! and the SBR and the Ed Brown are OK also!
And the reason it went unfired the Original owner had 3 Spas... One he shot a lot(the HeLL out of it) and Sold for what he paid for all 3 Back in the Eighties..
Then he Sold me Mine and is Keeping the Last NIB for himself..
Mine came without a box..
