So went to local gun range. Rented a MP40 and G23 gen 4.
Shot them back to back. Much more recoil snap from the G23
MP was smooth and I shot it more accurately then the G23. After getting a MP 9 pro in December Ive swayed from Glock once again.
The M&P just feel better in the hand, points naturally, has better sights out of the box and it was $90 cheaper then the G23.
Also checked out the MP shield, very very nice carry gun for summer. Might get one of those down the road too.
    So...........................I put a deposit on a new MP40!
What can I say. I still have a few Glocks,

Which size of MP40? Full size or compact?

I have alot of experience with both and really like the M&P, but I like my Glock more. :)

I'd take an M&P over a Glock any day.

I've got both and like the feel of the M&P 40 over the G23 and shoot it a tad better, but carry the G23 ALOT more. Don't know why.:dunno:I do love M&P's though.

    Full size.
The compact is more of the size of the G27.

    Easton area

They had MP40 pros in 5", 4 1/4" Pro. They had the MP 40, Pro 9 too. Also the Vtac 40
They had SIgs, glocks, rugers, kimbers, Xds, berrettas, HKs, FNH etc. Still had some pretty good stock still.
