I'm not sure Surefire surfs the gun channels. But this video just went up a few hours ago so it likely hasn't been seen by them yet. Given some of the comments I'm getting from other users who have experienced similar issues, I doubt it's news to them. Perhaps an update to the mags will be forth coming.

As far as civilians go, if you need more than 30 rounds, you're in deep, deep doo-doo.:rofl:

Like to get one for my go-bag, but I'd much rather have a 45 round mag than a 60 or 100.

Another great review. Giant mags aren't my cup of tea, but I hope SF sorts out the issues for those who need this capability.

Just out of curiosity, what is that optic on the ACR in front of what I presume is a magnifier?

  10. Interesting, I was considering switching from Emags to this. I think I'll just pick up one next year as a novelty item.

At least it's adding 2 lbs that actually goes bang to a rifle and that's 2 lbs you don't have to deal with on the gun when it's used up [vs. redimag and accessories].

It's a LUCID HD7 red dot sight. I'm working on the review this week.

This is the type of failure I was having as well, the magazine stops pushing the rounds up.

Redi-mag or Redi-mod don't really add much noticeable weight to the gun, save the second magazine.

And they don't jam your weapon either.....
