Supreme Court Justice Breyer robbed again

Discussion in 'Political Issues' started by sbhaven, May 20, 2012.

  1. Supreme Court Justice Breyer has been robbed for a second time in 3 months. This time he was not home when burglars raided his Washington D.C. house on May 4th. The thieves apparently made off with cutlery and candlesticks worth about $3,500 taken.

It should be noted that Breyer dissent in both the Heller and Chicago 2A cases. Wonder if being robbed twice now will change his opinions on self defence (with a firearm) or those who commit crimes.

Since no one was home at the time it is a burglary and larceny.

  4. Getting mugged & beaten & abused is more likely to inspire the need for a gun.

    Third time is the charm?

Really. I hope they keep doing it until they get it right. The Leftist creep deserves it.

:wow: I hope you are kidding. Just because I think his stance on the 2nd is wrong, I would not wish bad things to happen to him.

Ditto, I don't want anyone hurt. But I do remember one of my high school history teachers explaining that one definition of "conservative", was a liberal that's just been mugged.

Maybe these things will change his mind a little bit. Experience is one heck of a teacher.

I agree that it could change his mind, but I would never hope that on anyone. My dad was robbed and it effects him still.

I think it was just some poor part of the 99% redistributing Breyer's 1% wealth. I fail to see any problem with it. He wasn't willing to wait for the government to do it for him, and was showing initiative, in fact. Good for him!

When Breyer no longer wants me disarmed and vulnerable I'll extend the same attitude to him.

I could not agree more. The 2nd ammendment is not a priveledge, it is a RIGHT that shall not be taken away by liberals and tyrants who disagree. Screw them!

I am with Max on this one. It's one thing to wish harm on another random citizen, which I would never support. But this man is one of the people who are actively working to destroy the 2nd amendment, and has the power to do so if left unchecked by the 5 sane members of the SC. If a robbery or three is what it takes to make him realize that an unarmed society does not work for law-abiding citizens, then so be it.
