    I have a AR15 pistol with a 7.5" DPMS Kitty Kat upper.

Any special things to look for in a suppressor? Will any .223/5.56 work?

I would recommend getting a F/A rated suppressor because of the additional pressure of the extremely short barrel. Many manufacturers do not warranty their suppressors on very short barrels due to bullet stabilization problems. Also note that 7.5" uppers are much more problematic to make run reliably than even 11.5"'s, and that the backpressure from the suppressor will have even more effect on these than longer barreled uppers.

My company does make a model designed for a 7.5" upper, but I am sure other manufacturers do as well.
