What is a good suppressor for a Colt 5.56 rifle? I won't have my rifle for 9 months due to the ATF stamp needed, but is there anything else I will need for the suppressor to work with the rifle? I don't believe the barrel is threaded.

The barrel should be threaded and a lot of the rifle suppressors are made to be used with their muzzle brakes/attachments. I have a m4-2000 by AAC and it works well

    :agree:

If you are going to get a suppressor that you want hearing safe then the M4-2000 is your best choice.

Theres a shift in point of impact with a suppressor btw, but it's cool to shoot.

Yes. But that POI is only a problem if it is not repeatable. My M4-2000 is repeatable FWIW and it's easy to dial in your optic suppressed & non-suppressed.

You are buying a machine gun or short barrel rifle, but don't even know if the barrel is threaded? Is that correct?
