I am at my parent’s new lake house, I just set up broadband through a company called frontier wireless. It is a really interesting concept, they broadcast a signal all over the city (it’s a relatively small town.) What is really cool is that it is like having a hotspot anywhere you go, I can sit on the couch or I can be on a boat in the middle of the lake and get up to 768kb up and down. Theoretically I could be on a boat in the lake and gaming at the same time, I mean the speed is there but with all of the limitations of wifi I don't know that it would be practical.

Doesn't verizon offer a similar service? I wonder what kind of technology they use.

You mean you could be in a boat on the lake and playing a fishing game on your computer at the same time? ;f
