Well I have owned the same pair of Oakley's for around 6 years now and I feel that it is time to get some new shades.

My question is... what are you wearing these days?

Revo has been good to me, but I recently switched to Oakley Tens and like them a lot too.

I've owned 2 pair of Oakleys. 1st ones the frames kept breaking. 2nd pair the lens keeps breaking on one end. No more Oakleys for me.

Smith Optics and Maui Jims are the two I wear the most now. Smiths's warranty is very good.

The cheapest polarized possible. I simply got tired of breaking the high dollar ones. HH

They will be used as my back ups. However, I do have a pair of Oakley Fives Squared around here somewhere. If I can find them I will sell them to you for cheap... IF I can find them. I moved a month ago and haven't seen them yet.:faint:

    I like Oakleys.

But I have been sporting a pair of polarized Rayban sunglasses (made in Italy) for the last year or so and I like them a lot. Decided I liked them so much I bought another pair to store in the closet for when these break/get lost.

I went whole hog this year and got a pair of prescription sunglasses. Man they are not cheap. I opted for the Oakley Pitbull in matte black. Very happy with them. I have a couple pairs of new Smith Optics that I would make a deal on if someone wanted them. One is the Serpico (aviator style) in silver with mirror lenses and the other is the Smith Mogul. Neither of those have prescription, both are polarized.

I am a big fan of Maui Jims. I have the $235 or so super lightweight Lahainas, and a pair of a plastic frame model that goes for about $150 new. Bought those used from a neighbor for $75. Love them both.

For what? I wear Oakleys for sports and other places I want shatterproof lenses and different tints and contrasts. For just casual wear, depends what you like the look of.

6 dollar pair of 3M shades from home depot. Z87 rated, have to wear them at work, liked them so much I bought a couple extra pairs to wear out and about.

I can be hard on my glasses so I can't justify spending money on them.

Yeah, me too. No kidding they are expensive. I wear Costas and already had a pair. I had them made me a duplicate set in progressive. Tripled the price. But...now I can tie a fishing line with my sunglasses on.

I might take you up on that, if you come across them in the near future PM me.

I need some good polarized shades for fishing.
I've fished with a friend who wears Oakleys and I've tried them...big difference in visibility. (yeah, it's probably not Oakely, and only the polarization..but I'm tired of cheap glasses)

+1 I either break them or loss them, I don't think I paid more than $35 for a pair of sunglasses in years.

I'm also suprised Oakleys are still popular. I thought the 90's called and took them all back.
