Just venting about this craptastic company. I got cable/internet bundle with them in November, and in February, I cancelled the cable do to a better deal by Directv. Since I had already been billed for that month, they credited my account for the cable portion. They said I didn't have to send back the receiver box, but two weeks later, I get a nearly $500 bill in the mail for the box. I return it, no biggie. I had a feeling they messed something up, so I called and found out that my ~$70 credit had magically vanished. After being on hold for an accumulated 45 minutes, I hung up and tried again two days later, just to be ran around in circles for another hour. After much attitude, and hearing two separate people say "****," and "****" while on the phone with me (not to me), my credit magically re-appeared! Imagine that! They called me about a month ago asking if I wanted to upgrade my internet speed for an extra 10 bucks a month, I said sure. 10 minutes and a transfer to an 'account specialist' later, they supposedly upgraded my account. My internet has been slow, so I called them tonight after getting 1.56 download and 0.23 upload rates, and they tell me my account was NEVER upgraded and that it would be an extra $20 to upgrade my account. WTF? I told them I didn't even want the service now, but wanted to know who the HELL called me and told me they'd upgrade my account. "I can't answer that." Absolutely ridiculous company. As soon as I can find another provider, I am done! Rant over.
