Subsonic 223/5.56

    I am waiting for the atf to let me pick up my yhm pahntom. In the mean time I am wondering what the best subsonic round that I can use in my m&p15. I have some varmant problem so 22 is alittle small. and I think regular 223 will be to loud so what do yall use for subsonic 223? Thanks

    yea I havent heard alot about 5.56 subsonic either but i dont know if i should just get a .22 conversion and shot it that way are not. And that extremeshock is way expensive but I will look in to it

    There are a bunch of home grown loads out there but you could be taking a risk and a 40gr 22lr bullet going 1150fps isn't going to do much less than a 55gr .223 bullet going 1150fps. Now if you step up to a 77gr you'll get a bit more penetration. I have heard 4gr of Trailboss works with 55s and 62s but use at your own risk.
